Opposition to using Knockaloe for sewerage plant

No property developers have approached government with a view to taking over the Knockaloe Farm site in Patrick.

That's according to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture which is currently reviewing what to do with it. 
 
Minister Richard Ronan says a number of different options have been put forward: 
 
 
The site is currently being valued - it's believed to be worth between £3 million and £4.5 million. 
 
However whilst Mr Ronan admits it's not being used to its full potential he doesn't believe building a sewerage plant there is the way forward:
