Open catchment areas are unlikely to be introduced for schools on the Isle of Man.
That's according to the Education and Children Minister who was asked in the House of Keys this week if it could be considered.
It follows capacity issues with primary schools in Onchan due to strict catchment areas - it's left 75 children signed up to Onchan Primary School and 29 for Ashley Hill.
Graham Cregeen said whilst the topic is under review - and problems in Onchan are being addressed - it's unlikely to be changed Island wide:
