Manx Utilities says it's getting ready to submit a planning application for the Island's first onshore windfarm.
In an update on its website, it says it's finalising its plans for the Cair Vie site before it submits them.
But it adds no parts of the project have been approved and it can't make any commitments about construction without necessary approvals.
It says those will include planning permission and approval by Tynwald.
