Submitting personal tax returns online could save government more than £600,000 each year.
That's the message from the Income Tax Division which says it would also cut time spent on paperwork if everyone submitted electronically.
The deadline for tax returns is October 6th - people are being warned they will be hit with a £100 penalty if they are late.
Treasury is providing extra assistance for people who want to use the online service - an out-of-hours telephone service starts on Sunday.
