Health authorities say the new online directory isn’t a cost-saving initiative but will ease pressure on services.
The directory launched last week and offers a range of advice on all aspects of health, lifestyle and diet.
It forms part of the Department of Health’s 10-year programme on promoting general self care.
The department was ring-fenced in this year’s Budget but admits significant savings are still needed.
