An MHK will formally present a campaigner's petition calling for protections for immigrants with leave to remain on Island.
Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh is set to lay Vanessa Naude's petition before Tynwald next month.
It's been signed by nearly 2,000 people, and asks government to provide protections for people who've already moved here legally, in the event of future immigration rule changes.
The petition argues people who are here on the five-year settlement pathway should not have this extended even further - Tynwald is due to sit on Tuesday, July 21.
