An MHK will formally present a campaigner's petition calling for protections for immigrants already in the process of settling on Island.
Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh is set to lay Vanessa Naude's petition before Tynwald next month.
It's been signed by nearly 2,000 people, and asks government to provide protections for people who are already here on the five-year settlement pathway, in the event of future immigration rule changes.
Tynwald is due to sit on Tuesday, July 21.
