A 70 year old Onchan resident is attempting to complete an indoor triathlon at the National Sports Centre today raising money for two charities.
Margaret Brown, a former vice-chairman of the Isle of Man Sports Council, plans to run, cycle and swim for 70 minutes each for three and a half hours of continuous exercise.
She had intended to undertake the Triathlon Challenge in May to coincide with her 70th birthday but the Covid 19 lockdown prevented this happening.
On a mission to raise funds for Mannin Cancers and Asthma Research, Margaret will take to the treadmill at the NSC from 10am this morning, before moving onto the exercies bike in the reception area at around 11.15 and then onto the pool at around 12.30pm.
