The oldest surviving example of a historic train carriage is returning home after nearly half a century.
The Isle of Man Steam Railway Supporters Association says its return marks a major milestone in the preservation of the Island's railway heritage.
Coach F6 is the last left of Isle of Man railway's original 1876 bogie carriage, and hasn't been used since 1970.
After buying it from a Welsh railway company, the Manx organisation is now assessing the vehicle before restoring it.
