OFT warn against rogue builders

Past experience of the traders indicates the quality of the work is of an extremely poor standard.

It's thought the cowboy builders will be plying their trade currently after recent adverse weather and heavy downpours would have resulted in numerous cases of roof damage.

You're asked to ensure you get a written quotation before the work commences.

You are also reminded to double check the validity of the trader with the office of fair trading before agreeing terms.
