At this point the OFT are advising consumers to pursue the refund through the ways stated by the organisers.
The Office of Fair Trading has issued some advice to Bay Festival ticket holders regarding refunds.
They say ticket holders entered into a contract with the organisers when they purchased the ticket, however its cancellation could constitute a breach of contract, in which case consumers would normally be entitled to a full refund.
They say they are currently in the process of contacting the organisers to confirm that it is intended that consumers are entitled to a full refund, they will also gather more information about the refund process.
At this point the OFT are advising consumers to pursue the refund through the ways stated by the organisers.
They’ve said however that they will issue further guidelines if full refunds are not received.
