Manx Care removed a slogan from an occupational therapy campaign just two weeks after the war in Gaza started because of complaints, it's been revealed.
A Freedom of Information request asked for internal emails mentioning the words Gaza, Israel and Palestine in the six months after October 2023.
In its response, Manx Care released a series of emails discussing complaints over an "Occupation matters" slogan featured in a publicity campaign less than three weeks after the Hamas attacks.
The slogan from the Royal College of Occupational Therapy was pulled over worries about sensitivities during the conflict.
