The government currently has no plans to create a dementia village - and it isn't currently being considered.
Cabinet Office Minister David Ashford was quizzed on the topic in the House of Keys this week by Arbory, Malew and Castletown MHK Jason Moorhouse about the suggestion.
Mr Ashford said Public Health Isle of Man was carrying out an exercise to predict trends in dementia, including how much demand there'd be for services in future.
But he said historical proposals for a village weren't part of that project:
