No multi storey car park for Peel

Peel MHK dashes reports that multi storey facility was headed for Fenella

Reports of a possible Multi-Storey Car park development in Peel have been dashed by local MHK Tim Crookall.

It was reported that were plans in place that would see a major parking development for Fenella.

The Peel MHK is part of a working group looking into the issues surrounding parking on the Island, he said the Fenella site and Creg Mallin car park had both been identified as suitable areas where an extra level of parking could be situated.

Despite this however he said they have no intentions of going ahead with the works.

The working group have said they will continue to examine options for Peel as part of their remit of looking at Island wide parking issues.
