The government is encouraging people to let their grass grow this month for 'No Mow May.'
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is taking part in Plantlife's annual campaign, by leaving a number of areas with uncut grass.
The aim is to allow wildflowers to bloom and provide pollinators for bees and insects.
Anyone wishing to take part in the initiative can find more information here.
