The Chief Minister says it’s unlikely that Flybe will reverse its decision to close its base on the Isle of Man.
The airline will pull out of Ronaldsway by the end of March next year.
Earlier this week Allan Bell met with the chief executive Saad Hammad to discuss the impact the closure would have on the Island – and the 50 staff whose jobs look likely to be lost.
During the 'frank' discussion both parties discussed protecting jobs and flight routes.
Despite this Mr Bell says there is little flexibility:
