Onchan Commissioners have voted against selling a personalised registration number from a 70 year old tractor it has in storage.
At its last meeting, the board was asked to sell OMN-90 to a private buyer.
But members were told it was on a 1952 tractor which was the first vehicle bought for Onchan Pleasure Park - it's in storage but goes to events around the Island.
The local authority voted unanimously to keep the plate, worth an estimated £3,000.
