If you're self-isolating, neither you or anyone else is allowed to walk your dog.
That's according to the latest government advice which states any person who's tested positive for Covid-19, who's showing symptoms or is quarantining for any reason is not allowed to leave their home even to take their canine for exercise.
Furthermore, officials say your dog also cannot be walked by family members, friends or professional dog walkers.
If you have a suitable enclosed outdoor space you can exercise your pet in a garden, if not you're advised to have your dog collected by a relative, friend or boarding facility who can look after it whilst you isolate.
The rules also say any items associated with your dog such as beds, collars, leads and toys must be thoroughly washed and dried before taking them to a kennel to avoid potential Coronavirus spread.
