Ramsey Town Commissioners have announced that no evidence of corruption was found during the local authority's recent election.
It comes after allegations made by a candidate during the election campaign's hustings.
The board said it "followed democratic process" by launching a formal investigation into the allegations, which it called "wholly unfounded".
The matter was said to date back to a situation six years ago.
