No concerns over Manx Gas's debt says Chief

Treasury has no concerns about Manx Gas's current level of debt following a takeover of its parent company.

That's according to the Chief Minister who says both government and the Office of Fair Trading have seen the accounts.

Onchan MHK Peter Karran raised the issue in Tynwald this week - he wanted reassurance that Manx Gas wouldn't be loaded with excessive debt from Brookfield Energy Partners:

However Allan Bell discounted his fears saying there is absolutely no comparison between the situation and that of the Steam Packet:
