Isle of Man Post Office is paying tribute to the vital roles of the Islands nurses and midwives.
The organisation has launched a series of eight stamps to celebrate the work they do to coincide with International Nurses Day today, which this year marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale.
Each stamp represents the eight main sectors of Manx nursing of midwifery, health visiting and school care, hospital nursing, mental health, practice nursing, community nursing, advance practitioner nursing and end of life care.
They also feature Nelly Brennan, Esther Jane Bridson and Sarah Forester - three nurses who were pivotal in the development of nursing in the Isle of Man.
