The scheme has been spearheaded by the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure and is expected to begin in September.
It will see carers for people with a disability entitled to free admission to the NSC to assist the person in getting full use out of all of the facilities on offer.
In order to sign upto the scheme the individual must first fill out an application form at the NSC, which will get them their Passport to Sport card.
