Patients in the Accident and Emergency Department at Noble’s will now have added privacy thanks to a donation by the hospital’s trustees.
New privacy screens have been installed in the Resuscitation area and replaced the previous portable fabric screens.
The screens are designed to create a complete barrier between the two areas, being placed wherever required to ensure that medical and nursing teams have full access to patients and emergency care equipment.
Minister David Anderson said that maintaining dignity and privacy is a crucial part of the delivery of care in all settings, particularly in A&E.
