A new roadside warning system is in place in Laxey to keep drivers and tram users safe.
New flashing amber lights are now operational from the Ramsey direction at the Green's Garage level crossing on the A2.
Isle of Man Transport says the approach to the crossing is at an awkward angle, making it difficult for cars to see oncoming trams.
Now, the system will warn drivers of oncoming trams at the crossing.
