Ideas are being explored to create a new Island football team to play in the English Non-League system.
Football Club Isle of Man (FC IOM) says initial investigations have been carried out into the concept which would see the new outfit begin in step six of the structure.
The clubs spokesperson, Paul Jones, says a number of committed individuals from both the sports and business communities have come together to try and make it a possibility.
He's added should it be given the green light it could have wider benefits for Manx sport and local communities.
