Plans have been submitted to change the use of Unit 3 at Hills Meadow Industrial Estate from a micro-brewery to a boxing facility.
Manx Amateur Boxing Club, which has put forward the proposals, says it's current base on Palace Road is dilapidated and is too small to house it's equipment and training facilities and may be restricting members from reaching their full potential.
The application is now subject to approval.
