A new service has been launched at Noble's Hospital geared toward serving the needs of the acutely ill.
The Critical Care Outreach Team has been created in an effort to bolster the levels of support given to seriously ill patients - including devoting more staff to this purpose.
The new service was identified as a number one priority from patient safety work streams developed across the hospital.
The team will be focussed on detection and intervention, as well as offering practical support for staff.
