Walton Centre for Neurology to Expand
An extension to Liverpool’s Walton Centre for Neurology is going to positive knock-ons for local’s suffering from brain conditions.
The centre is expanding much in the same way Noble’s hospital did a few years back.
Whereas the development won’t essentially mean the Island gets preferential treatment over the UK, it will ensure that anybody needing the facilities stand a better chance of being seen quickly, with the facility being able to take an extra 160 patients a year.
It’s all come about following research which showed a
patient with severe head injuries stands a better chance of recovery if cared
for in specialist facilities.
