Almost 5,700 people have moved to the Island since 2021, but more than 4,400 left in the same period.
The figures have been revealed in the government's Isle of Man Population Report for 2024.
In it, the Cabinet Office says the current population is estimated to be 84,523.
The data shows 17 per cent of people who move to the Island work in healthcare, and the majority - 46 per cent - move to Douglas or Onchan.
