An emergency closure was enforced at 11:40Hrs.
It was shut from the Hairpin to the bungalow.
Police say they enforced the closure for the recovery of a broken down motorcycle. They needed to close the road to do it due to the high volume of traffic.
The road was re-opened at 12:20Hrs.
