The Mountain Road will be subject to closures at the weekend and on several days next week.
The A18 between Barrule Park in Ramsey and the Creg-ny-Baa will close on Sunday (September 22) between 9.30am and 4pm whilst the IOM Cycle Challenge takes place.
Following that, the section between Ramsey Hairpin and the Creg-ny-Baa will be cordoned off each day between 9.30am and 4.30pm from Monday, September 23, to Wednesday, September 25 whilst road lining work is carried out.
For the latter works, should there be poor weather on those days, the road lining will instead take place from October 1 to October 3.
