Mountain Road closed until tomorrow morning

It's been confirmed the Mountain Road will remain shut until at least 7.30am tomorrow morning.

It comes as the Island braces itself for a new weather warning for Ice and wintry showers.

Ronaldsway Met Office says the yellow warning is now in force until Midnight on Wednesday.

in a recent update, the DOI says the Mountain Road will remain closed due to the weather conditions. 

Police say they've had multiple reports of ice on roads, with the DOI 'actively trying to keep the roads gritted and passable'.
