Police say eight motorists have been stopped for ignoring a 'stop' sign in the north of the Island.
The incident happened yesterday at the Poyll Dooey Road at the junction with Station Road and Bircham Avenue in Ramsey.
Officers say drivers who didn't stop will be dealt with, and patrols will continue in the area.
The road is currently seeing increased traffic due to the roadworks on Lezayre Road.
