The Island's Infrastructure Minister says legal changes are on the way allowing police to issue fixed penalties to motorhomes and other large vehicles parked in residential streets.
Ray Harmer made the announcement in the House of Keys yesterday when he was asked what his department was doing to tackle the problem.
He said new enforcement powers would be given to officers to issue tickets - currently owners would have to appear in court.
But he said the law about parking is clear:
