Government confirmed the milestone was reached yesterday and is thanking the medical teams involved for getting jabs into arms and protecting the vulnerable.

The Island is aiming to carry out 1,000 jabs a day this week due to increased supplies of vaccines being available.

There's also a new online vaccine registration service now available for those who've received an invitation letter - the system was brought in to help relieve pressure on the 111 service.
