More Oral Evidence to be Heard by KSF Tynwald Select Committee
The Select Committee of Tynwald who are looking into the collapse of Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander will meet today to hear evidence from some more of those affected by the collapse.
The oral evidence will first be presented by Dr Angela Downs, a member of the KSFIOM Depositors Action Group, second up will be member of the Partial Protected Depositors Group Stephen Thomas.
To date there have been a number of hearings with Treasury Minister Alan Bell giving evidence at the last one.
The committees remit is to investigate the collapse of the Icelandic bank and all of the relevant parties involved, as well as the credibility of the Depositors Compensation Scheme.
The evidence will be heard at 2.30pm in the Legislative Council Chamber, and will be open to members of the public.
