The number of people working for Manx Care has risen by 45 per cent in the last five years.
The figures were given in response to a question for written answer from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson.
He asked Health Minister Claire Christian about the number of workers in the organisation in 2021 and 2026.
Mrs Christian said in 2021 there were 2,700 staff - but this year that number had risen to 3,936.
UPDATE: Manx Care now says the data provided was incorrect and has been removed from the Tynwald website.
