More people on the Isle of Man are going without food or heating as the cost of living squeezes, compared to other Crown Dependencies.
That's according to new figures from Island Global Research, which asked people in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man about the economic downturn.
The statistics show one in 8 on the Isle of Man are going without essentials, up six per cent on data collected last November.
The Isle of Man also showed the largest increase in the numbers of those finding it difficult to meet living costs, with 62 per cent admitting times were tough - a rise of seven per cent on last year.
