Missing UK Woman Feared Dead, Grew Up on Isle of Man

46 Year Old Joanna Brown Went to Buchan Primary School

It’s been confirmed now that the female in the UK reported missing, presumed dead grew up on the Isle of Man.

46-year-old Joanna Brown was reported missing by a close friend yesterday, upon breaking into her home in Ascot police found reason to believe that Mrs Brown had died, although no body was present.

They have since arrested her ex husband on suspicion of her murder; he’s still being questioned by the Thames Valley Police.

Joanna was the daughter of a prominent property developer on the Island, Chris Simpson, she went to primary school at the Buchan.

A major search has been launched in the surrounding Berkshire area.

Detective Inspector Mark Newey told 3FM how the Isle of Man Constabulary were contacted by the Thames Valley Police to make Joanna's on Island family aware of the current situation.
