Agriculture Minister Clare Barber says her department is meeting with the Island's vets.
In Tynwald, she faced questions about services for farmers after Milan Vets announced it would stop serving livestock because of a lack of demand.
Since saying it would cease at the end of this month, the company has said it will continue into the new year.
