Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says he doesn't know when staffing problems on the Island's buses will be solved.
He faced a question for written answer from Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher about the difficulties, which have seen bus cancellations every day for weeks.
Mr Crookall said bus drivers can quit with two weeks notice - but recruiting and training new drivers takes much longer.
He says the problems will continue until there are enough drivers, but doesn't know when that will be.
