Treasury Minister Chris Thomas says he's aware of several cases where Manx immigration documents weren't accepted in the UK.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse raised the issue in a question in the House of Keys this week.
Mr Moorhouse asked about problems with Manx Indefinite Leave to Remain documents being used in Britain.
