An MHK is calling for a radical overhaul of the current model of ministerial government that’s been in place for the last 26 years.
Richard Ronan says in the two years he’s represented Castletown he’s witnessed inconsistent approaches and a lack of cohesion as a direct result of the current system.
Now, he wants Allan Bell to have more power and the support of a deputy chief minister and a person focused on international relations.
Mr Ronan says previous attempts to overhaul government haven’t worked:
