An MHK will ask Tynwald members to back calls for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the release of Israeli hostages.
Rushen MHK Michelle Haywood says she'll bring a motion to the next sitting of the court in two weeks' time.
Her motion condemns violence on both sides and also calls for solidarity with the Island's Palestinian and Israeli communities.
On Facebook, she says a number of Tynwald members have said they'll support the move.
