The man behind the Island's assisted dying laws will address Tynwald next week.
Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson has been given leave to make a statement on the issue to the court by President of Tynwald Laurence Skelly.
This week, it was revealed the UK had refused to put the legislation forward for Royal Assent.
Tynwald is due to sit from 10am on Tuesday, April 21 in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
