MHK says he will listen to R-plate concerns

Controversial plans to change the restrictions placed on new drivers are not a "knee jerk reaction". 

That's according to the Department of Infrastructure which wants to impose new rules for motorists on R-plates.

Introducing a limit on passengers and a curfew hasn't proved popular with parents and those who work unusual hours - Mr Houghton says it would be "foolish" not to listen to their concerns:
