Chief Minister Howard Quayle says information showing how much money companies belonging to MHKs have had from the government show how transparent the Island is.
This week, figures from government accounts showed even Mr Quayle had received almost £31,000 Countryside Care and Agricultural Development grants for his firm, Ballavitchel Estates.
But he says the fact that the amounts have been included in the government's audited accounts, laid before Tynwald earlier this week, shows nothing's being hidden.
He says he doesn't think the revelations damage the government's image:
