Concerns have been raised that animal waste being illegally dumped on the Island could cause a "public health incident".
Onchan MHK Peter Karran has called for an investigation to check that the process is being carried out properly - he claims the amount of waste being collected legitimately has gone down:
In the House of Keys this week the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister was asked to confer with the Department of Infrastructure which carries out the waste collection.
