Mezzanine level planned for Manannan

Creating a new mezzanine level on the Manannan will help increase motorcycle capacity by 30 per cent.

The Steam Packet Company has commissioned the temporary infrastructure - which will be used during the TT and Festival of Motorcycling.

Around 300 more bikes will be able to be carried backwards and forwards each day - this TT more than 12,000 bikes travelled to, and from, the Island - a rise of eight per cent on the previous year.
