The Treasury Minister has commented on the team of MEA dispatched to Scotland earlier this week to help appease their power cut crisis.
The five-man team were sent to Scotland on Thursday morning after thousands of properties were left without power as a result of the stormy conditions which hit the UK.
Eddie Teare has prasied the efforts of the Manx workforce, saying our network performance ranks amongst the best in Europe.
He said the investment over recent years has served to reinforce the MEA's network.
The Ayre MHK also praised the MEA staff, saying the investment would be worthless without their enthusiastic support, commitment and co-operation of the workforce.
