Manx National Farmers Union React Angrily to Government Shake Up
The Manx National Farmers Union have reacted angrily to the Chief Minister’s proposal to reorganise the Manx Government.
It would appear their biggest issue with the announcement was the lack of prior warning given to them by the Manx Government.
They have accused the Chief Minister of fiddling while Rome burns in light of the huge uncertainty currently faced by the Island.
They are anticipating also a significant cost on the rebranding effort that will have to be followed by not just their department, but all departments.
The President of the Farmers Union Howard Quayle slammed the proposal saying he was appaled to hear the news, especially at a time where the whole Island needs stability and confidence.
